Spells will be appointed by the Professors to the student. Professors will give a quiz or homework assignment and if the student does well enough the teach will give him a spell related to the subject. Professors keep in mind the student year. Spells can be used anywhere anytime unless specified otherwise and as long as you are willing to pay the consequences (use a spell to manage mischief, get caught).
